Participating in the Conference Workshops
You must bring a printed confirmation of your Conference registration (full package, daylong package, theatrical performance, and/or optional social or tourist activities, if applicable) and a signed Release Form (see below) as proof of your payment and to show to which room you are assigned. In advance of the Conference, single workshop registrations will be limited in availability during the Conference weekend due to the format of this Conference, where workshops are designed to complement each other over the course of a full day. However, as the Conference weekend approaches, if we find the format and space limitations of the Conference permit, we may offer half-day and/or single workshop options – online and walk-in registrations will be welcome at this time. Please join our e-mail list or check the registration page for updates.
Payments are handled through the Conference registration page, located at http://theatricalbellydance.com/register/, with payments managed securely via PayPal SSL encryption. You don’t need a PayPal account to use this registration page, just a major credit or debit card. If you have a PayPal account, you can also log on http://paypal.com to confirm details of your transaction.
You will receive a payment confirmation email from PayPal as well as registration confirmation from the Conference. If you do not receive either confirmation within two business days of submitting your payment, please contact us at email@example.com. Please print your confirmation, as it will be asked for at the Conference registration stand in order to attend the workshops for which you have registered. If you prefer to pay by check or money order, you may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for address and payment instructions. Please watch for the early deadlines and sign up in time to get discount rates to the Conference. These dates are firm and exceptions cannot be made. Payments at the door must be made in cash only, space permitting. Register in advance to be sure we have a place for you.
Each Conference participant must submit a signed Release Form (http:// theatricalbellydance.com/downloads/Theatrical_Bellydance_Release_Form_2011.pdf) in order to gain access to the Conference.
Assignment of Instructors and Performers
We cannot guarantee the attendance of any particular instructor or performer, and we shall not be responsible for any cancellation and/or withdrawal of instructor(s) and/or performer(s) on any given day and no refunds or credits will be given in the event that an instructor or performer is not in attendance. In the unlikely event that an instructor or performer will not be in attendance, the applicable slot(s) will be filled by another instructor from the Conference or another instructor of our choosing. You acknowledge that the instructors’ opinions, teaching methods, and promotional materials’ content are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the New York Theatrical Bellydance Conference or the Theatrical Bellydance Project LLC.
For information only and in order to facilitate your participation, a list of suggested hotels and rooming options will be posted at http://theatricalbellydance.com/visitorinfo once all conference locations are finalized. We will make every reasonable effort to help Conference participants find housing for the duration of the Conference, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to find placement for everyone attending or that any of the hotels on the list will have any available rooms. Neither we nor the Conference or its staff members or volunteers will be held responsible for any circumstances relating to your accommodations.
All payments are FINAL and no refunds or credits will be issued to you. Packages are transferable with the permission of the conference and payment of an administration fee. If you register for the Conference and are unable to attend, you may find your own replacement for your spot, but we reserve the right to assess an administrative fee of $20.00. Also please note that if you find a replacement for your spot, that replacement must be for the same day and the same class selections only. We reserve the right to cancel the Conference, any workshop or any of the theatrical performances due to a Force Majeure event. In the event of cancellation of the Conference, full refunds of the ticket price will be issued by check or by credit to your card.
