SUBMIT the following to us in an e-mail separate from your Eventbrite registration submission fee:
– Your topic description (200 words maximum, program-ready, in a paragraph)
– Website link(s)
– Bio (200 words max, program-ready)
– Resume or CV that includes other related presentations or workshops you have given

BE SURE TO INCLUDE IN YOUR SUBMISSION EMAIL:
IF PANEL DISCUSSION PROPOSAL: Description of the panel you’d like to lead as moderator (200 words max, program-ready, that includes one sentence that describes your connection to this topic), and 10-12 questions you’d like to see addressed by panelists.

A workshop handout for participants is recommended.
IF PAPER/TALK/SLIDESHOW: Written abstract (150 words max)
Resume or CV – list of previous academic and/or professional presentations and work.
For our event, an academic paper talk MUST HAVE Powerpoint or multimedia slideshow (with tech needs worked out with us in advance) or some physical demonstration (like using selected dancers or dancer volunteers), not just reading aloud.
Optional but recommended – video of you presenting at an event or selected pages from your PowerPoint presentation.
TIP BEFORE APPLYING: Look at these links under LUNCHTIME ACTIVITIES for previous years’ offerings (under the ABOUT link on our site), to get an idea of what types of topics fit well at our event. We will be offering some morning talks/panels this year as well.
